Glen Shepard is president of Catalyst Financial Company. He has worked in the financial service industry for more than 20 years and brings experience in finance, accounting, consulting, forecasting, and above all, service. Glen worked at Texas Commerce Bank from 1988 until 1994 in various roles including asset and liability management, commercial banking, and training. He served in the Commercial Banking Group for Compass Bank from 1994 through 1997. During 1997, he became partner in Catalyst Financial Company. Glen has a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, a MBA from the University of Houston and has received his CPA certification.

Keary Barnes joined the Catalyst team in December of 2006 and brings twelve years of factoring and banking experience.  He currently serves as Senior Vice President and heads up the marketing and business development efforts. Prior to joining Catalyst, Keary worked for Texas National Bank. While at the bank his responsibilities included small business lending and development, as well as starting and managing the factoring division for the bank. Keary earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University and completed Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU.

Richard Mann serves as Senior Vice President, Controller and Portfolio Manager for Catalyst. Richard began his career as Controller with a locally based records management firm in 1994 after attending Texas Tech University. Richard joined Catalyst in 1999 as Credit Manager and was responsible for credit underwriting, reviewing and maintenance of client relationships. Today, Richard is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, credit underwriting, internal controls, risk management and plays a key role in planning and strategy development for Catalyst.

Sherri Gideon has over 15 years experience in financial and management positions. She joined Catalyst Financial Company in 2003 in the mortgage division. She currently serves as Senior Vice President and heads up Operations and oversees day-to-day funding. Prior to joining Catalyst, Sherri worked over 10 years in the energy industry acting as Managing General Partner for numerous power projects. She handled contract negotiations and multi-million dollar force majuere events. Additionally, she led numerous off-balance sheet financings for IPP and cogen projects. Sherri attended Texas A&M University majoring in Business Analysis. She is a licensed Texas Mortgage Loan Officer and a Texas Real Estate Realtor.

Mathew Vaughan joined the Catalyst team in November 2009. He brings in 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing from both the banking and factoring industries. His primary responsibilities include securing direct business by developing a variety of referral sources and clients in and around Texas and the Southwest.  Mathew earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University.

Ryan Austin joined Catalyst in January 2009. Ryan is responsible for business lending and development in and around Texas with emphasis in the North Texas market. He began his career with a Houston firm responsible for Accounts Receivable Management / Reconstruction for hospitals. Prior to joining Catalyst, he worked for Bank of America/Countrywide acting as Group Manager/VPSL in their Consumer Markets Division. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
